What does it take to succeed in SFI?

In order to succeed in SFI you need to build a network of customers and business builders. SFI is the networking side of the business.

Tripleclicks is our global online marketing site. It is where all the sales take place and commissions are earned here. Being global it means that somewhere in the world, at any time of the day or night, people can buy from your site. You could be fast asleep but your site could be bringing in commissions for you. All you need to do is to keep advertising your TC, PB and Wave Gateways, so that people can check out what you have for sale. Everytime anything sells through your site - you earn a commission.Do keep in mind that Rome was not built in a day and neither is an SFI business. It is not a get-rich-quick scheme. However, if you work the business right, you could become incredibly wealthy in time.

The question is how does one become successful in this business. So here are some steps to success that you can follow.

1. Treat your business as the million dollar business that it is. It is your business. Take charge of it, don't depend on others to help you. If they do help its a bonus, but don't depend on it. In any business you need to invest time and money to succeed. So is it with this business. As everything is given to you free to join and run your business. So your financial investment is only very small - in comparision to what it would be, if you were running a normal run-of-the-mill business. Be thankful that SFI allows us to build a business without heavy layout and make the most of it.

2. Log in everyday and ensure that you get all the free VPs that SFI gives to us in the To-Do-List. This makes it easier for you to achieve with a lesser investment. As a business owner you need to take your business seriously and visit it each day to do what is needed to make it successful.

3. You need to advertise your Gateways each day. If you are going to buy your PSAs then, you only need to concentrate on advertising only your sales gateways. However, if you want to find your own team, you will have to advertise your sponsoring gateways as well. You can get to your Gateways, by clicking on your Account tab on the home page. You will find the gateway list on the drop-down menu there.

Try to advertise your links in at least 10 different sites, 5 forums, 5 social sites and 5 places like Yahoo. answers or Help.com. As you don't have a physical shop that people will visit in a mall or some such place - you do need to concentrate on advertising and letting people know that you have a business they need to visit.

4. Keep in constant communication with your Affiliates, that is most important. Welcome them when they join you, congratulate them when they achieve in any way and make sure you send them training mail to help them along the way. There is a lot to learn - so ensure that they learn what is important right from the start. A series of emails showing them the way in the right sequence is what would be very appropriate. You are very welcome to use my mails if you wish, within the SFi umbrella. However, please don't use them to blog with, because you will get caught for plagarism, especially if you "copy" "paste" them.

5. The first month you can achieve EA with all the free VPs that SFI gives to us. However, after that we either need to sell stuff or buy stuff in order to get 1500 VPs for EA. Don't pressurize your Affiliates to buy if they want don't want to, but do make them understand that every business has some overheads - luckily in SFI the overheads are very low - but in order to achieve they need to pay these overheads. However, if they don't want to do it. Don't force them - SFI is very generous in that it allows us to remain in the business without ever spending a cent, so long as we keep logging in and letting them know that we are still interested in the business.

If you are willing to spend, then the best thing for you to do is to put in a SO for 1,500 VP. IAHBE gives you good training and resources to build your business with. However, I personally feel that SFI itself gives us so much to read and learn that IAHBE can wait, till we have finished with all that learning.
I have a SO for 125 TCredits and it makes me EA right away. I have placed it for the beginning of the month, because becoming EA gives me 2 free CSAs and if they are willing to work - I have enough time to help them go EA as well. It also gives me an extra 2 entries at the Daily Grand.

Take these small steps to success and you will reach the pinnacles of success as time goes by.
However, do please be aware that a number of Affiliate accounts have been hacked into in SFI. The reason how people are able to do that is simple, multiple sites using one password, easy to guess passwords 12345667 types, and logging into your site via an email, or already established link.
In order to be safe please ensure that none of these are applicable to your password.

My first paycheck from SFI!!!

Just imagine the wonderful feeling, when you get a commission cheque for the first time from a business you are building. It is such a fabulous feeling .... and it happened for me from the very first month that I joined SFI.

I remember the feeling of elation I had - when I got an email from SFI telling me that my commission was for the month was in. I was ever so excited!!!

My first cheque was for a paltry sum of $1.98. However, it made me realize that the company I had joined was a real company not a fly by night scam company!

Still for the first year or so, I treated SFI as a hobby and a learning curve in my life, rather than a real business. Oh, I invested a fair amount of time in it.....and would invest just enough each month to become an EA.....but that was it. So SFI paid me back as a hobby would.

I really enjoyed, and am still enjoying the learning from my new business. Know that, SFI teaches you everything you need to know about your business....and that too for FREE. If I had had to pay for all the knowledge that SFI has imparted to me, I would have had to paid 1000s of dollars to learn all that I have in the past two years.

However, now that I have actually realized the potential I hold in my hands through the business and am capitalizing on it....the business too, has started paying me back as a business should.

So, if you are in the SFI business or considering joining it, know that it is a million dollar business. It is definitely not a get-rich-quick scheme ...however, if you lay a strong foundation for it, it will pay you back a thousandfold....)

WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS IS SFI?

Is SFI a slow moving or a get-rich-quick kind of business? People who join SFI often ask the same question, when will I get my money – when will I be paid? Maybe they have not read what SFI says when they join. Nowhere does it say that they are being hired for a job or that they will get paid just for joining.

In fact SFI is a really serious business, where both time and money involvement are required. You can do more of one and less of the other to balance out the kind of investment made.... however, investment either of cash or kind or both - does have to be made in order to succeed in this business.

True, SFI has been exceedingly generous with us and given us many, many freebies. Also true that there is never any pressure on us to buy anything or to spend money.....however, it is equally true that without investment of cash (unless you sit glued to the net 18 hours a day just working your business) your business will grow slowly and painfully. A simple analogy would be to liken our efforts at trying to hammer a nail in the wall with a proper hammer.. It would be a successful attempt, quick and painless...however, trying to achieve the same result with your hand (in place of a hammer) would be a slow process, painful and bloody and the results may or may not be what you were aiming for.

I think most of us have already heard the tortise and the hare story, where the slow, consistent tortise beats the fast moving hare in a race....because the hare is so confident of his speed that he relaxes and doses off while the slow tortise, one step at a time edges his way to the first position in the race.

Our business SFI is like a tortise – slow and needing commitment, time and effort ... a conscientious attempt towards all three. It does not just get up and gallop away like a hare. In other words – work the business consistently and you will reap the results in time. This is not a Matrix which builds up quickly, rewards those on top and then dies down leaving behind many thousands of people who have invested heavily into it – in the lurch. This is not a get-rich-quick scheme. Instead, it is a get very wealthy slowly kind of a business.

As with most online business this business too needs certain skills. A working knowledge of computing and a willingness to learn more is of utmost importance. Learning is key to this business. In the last almost 2 years since I joined this business I have learnt so much about computing and Internet marketing, that, if I had joined a University course to learn the same, I would have paid thousands of dollars for the same. However, SFI has given it all to me absolutely Free.

You need to learn online Advertising, whether it be in ezines, magazines, social or other sites, in classified ads etc. Maintaining your own website, blog or pages are also of prime importance as they give you an ability to brand yourself and get exposure on the net. You can also learn to write articles or special reports for other websites.

You need to learn to think, act, behave like a leader and lead all your downline to success. You also need to learn to create a follow up system, in order to train and teach and lead your downline. You need to learn SEO so that you can get a better ranking for your pages with Search Engines. Above all you need to learn organizational skills, so that you can do all these things without feeling the stress and strain of it all. With all these do's there are also some don'ts the main of which are to give up reading and wasting time on free e-books, junk mail or learning videos etc.Don't keep joining new sites and try to spread yourself thinly between all - unless you have time. So , just concentrate on what's important and do that and success will follow.:)

TIPS FOR WINNING AUCTIONS

Some tips on winning in auctions

Look for something that appeals to you personally, or, if you are going to resell it..look for something that most other people will want.

2. Mark out and bid only on those auctions that are marked Double MRP, Winners Bid Free, or are giving you free TCredits or VP if you win the aucton.

3. Before you start bidding, if you really want to win, do ensure that you have at least 1000 TCredits in hand (of course it depends on the price of the item up for bidding. The higher the price of the item the more TCredits you might need. Do ensure you have them in hand.

4. Make sure that you are enlisted for quick TCredits, in case you do run out. You don't want to miss out on winning just because you run short of a few TCredits.

5. When you are a "High Bidder" and immediately after that someone else places a bids a few times, know that they are on AutoBidder and stay away for a while - else you stand to waste your time and money.

6. When you see that the auction starts at 10 seconds per bid, know that the end is in sight. (However, even that period can go on for a couple of hour or more)

7. Make a budget of how far you want to go with the bidding and stick to it. When you bid at Auctions, you get action VPs, which we need to reach a set rank. We can get upto 500 VPs each month in return for using 500 TCredits for bidding. Plus, we also get 5 MRP per bid that we make, so we never really loose in Auctions. And if you bid in Double MRP Auctions you get 10 MRP per bid....and it adds up quickly. You can then turn around and spend the MRP on products or even to buy TCredits with.

8. Betwee 2AM and 5AM in the US is the best time to contest in the Auctions. Also the end of the week and the end of the month are better times to try and win auctions. Items that are not much in demand are also normally won easily with a small outlay of TCredits.

9. By watching and learning from Auctions you can see how many items are won for less than $1.00

10. Develop a repution of always being a winner and people will shy away from bidding when you are around....which means cheaper auctions for you.:)

11. Make it a point of winning, no matter what the cost, things you really want...that will help give you a winner reputation.

12. SFI has a quota on how many items a person can per day or per week. When the winners have won their quota they go for "Unlimited" acutions - because that is the only place they can go and win again. Watch these Auctions between winners and learn from them and enjoy them.

13. Improve your chances of winning by getting to know who the fierce competitors are, and staying away from these auctions...you can also check to see if someone has won a lot of TCredits lately and stay away from bidding if they are.

There are no time limits for the Auctions, some finish in a very short span of time and some are still going even after 6 hours. However, if an Auction is close to the end the bids will only go up to 10 seconds.

But, hey auctions bring about action VPs that are very essential for reaching BTL level. They are also a lot of fun, and you can win upto 500 VPs for the first 500 bids you make in a month. Along with that you also get 5 MRP for each bid you make. You do use 1 TCredit for each bid but heck, if it takes you to the next level of payment with SFI, who am I to complain?

So here are some pointers that have been given to me by friends who do a lot of bidding and also tips given by SFI itself on winning in the auctions.

1. Keep trying, Lady Luck will smile on you sometimes.

2. Only bid in those auctions that give you Double MRP, VP or TCredits, or something that you really fancy and would really like to have.

3. Make a note of when you are bidding, and there is someone who bids right after you - that person has Autobidder on, so the likelihood of you winning is extremely slim (unless the bidding goes on for to long and your opponent runs out of TCredits)

Try the AutoBidder yourself when you have at least 1000 TCredits or so.

Things to Know about Price Benders Auctions!

PriceBenders Auctions are Penny Auctions...meaning that bids go up by one penny each time. However, due to the speed that the bids sometimes come in; you may not see your name on the page. However, if you go to the Bid Log which is located on the Auction Details Page, you will see it there, unless there are some technical difficulties at your end - in which case please contact our Customer Care reps for assistance.........

When you see WBF written in the Notes Column it means that whoever is the Winner of that Auction, will get his/her bids back on completion of the Auction.

IWA is a special auction open only to those who have never won a PB auction before. If perchance you want to bid, but cannot be around the computer all the time, you can put yourself on the Autobidder. However, it is to be noted that the bids can go pretty fast sometimes, so you will need to have (in my opinion) if you wish to have a 99% guarantee that you will win the item at least 1000 or more TCredits to draw from.

Auctions end when the clock reaches zero. However, it also resets itself with each bid, so there is no set time for it to end. Most auctions begin with a countdown of 5 mins. With the increase of bids, the clock time decreases.

If an item being auctioned is refurbished, it will clearly say so in the description. This does not happen often...however. On the whole all the products for sale are brand new, brand name products.

A good way to get your feet wet is by observing the auction for a while. Also, have a set budget of TCredits that you are ready to spend and then stick to that budget. Ensure that you have plenty of TCredits on hand, or else, you might loose out in the end because you don't have enough time or money, to buy more TCredits.

When you see the clock reaching zero again and again it means there are not too many people bidding on it ... Also, when the item for auction is not an expensive one, there will be less people bidding on it, so it will probably be a good auction to be able to win.

If you use the Autobidder, do monitor it so that you can stop it if you feel there are too many people already bidding on the item. In that case, it might be best to bid manually, at least for a while.

When you win an Auction, your name will show up as the High Bidder as the timer runs to zero. An email will also be sent to you and you will also get a link to order the won item in the PB Auctions located in My Account page. Items that have been won need to be claimed within 30 days or else they will be forfeited. As soon as you make your payment for the item and it has been verified, the item will be shipped to you directly. Check out also "Shipping on Won Items FAQs" . However the standard shipping for Auctions is free.

In order that more people get to win, a person can only win 4 auctions in 7 days and no more than 12 in a month. Each TC member can only win two WBF auctions in a 30 day period and no more than one in 10 days.
